The Indo-Finnish-Thai International Workshop on 'Exhibit Development' was organized for the first time in India at Central Research and Training Laboratory, Kolkata. The workshop was organized by National council of Science Museums, India and participated by organizations i.e. 'National Council of Science Museums, India, Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre, Finland & National Science Museum, Thailand’ indicating the truly international nature of the field. This first trilateral 'IFT' workshop followed a series of successful bilateral 'Indo-Finnish' workshops on different concepts on Exhibit Development since 2006. This workshop focused on the relevant topic 'Natural Disaster and Electricity' for the development of interactive and immersive exhibits as well. This special event offered an extraordinary occasion for the participants to meet leading professionals and learn of new directions in exhibit development, studies and methodologies, providing a neutral platform to discuss these issues.
